Personally, it doesn't matter to me WHERE I end up as long as it isn't here - but I'm probably one of the few who doesn't care whether or not I ever go home again. I'm sure there are plenty others who feel different and would like to eventually go back to where they came from.

Regardless, off the Tranquility appears to be the first step for all of you. Whether you'd like to return where you came from or not. These questions are all safety precautions to determine potential risks involved in the process.

Can't say I blame you. If you already know about the Scylla then you people probably know that just boarding the ship isn't such a great idea.

How DO you guys know about the Scylla anyway?

Over time, while searching for you, we found what the Tranquility left behind. It's how we were able to track the ship.

Were you on board when the ship docked with the Scylla? What can you tell me about what transpired on your end?

You found the Scylla? I didn't think that was possible, after a jump. Does this ship usually leave shit behind?

I was, yeah. They came on here trying to take the ship's tech and food supply - and anything else they could get their grubby hands on. We managed to fight them off over a few days, until I think they were all killed.

Not the ship, but its flight recorder. We couldn't find any remains of the Scylla, but that makes sense, if it was with you during a jump. The Strela and the Cyllene were mostly intact.

Well, they were pirates. You can hardly be blamed for taking extreme measures against known criminals.

I stayed behind on the ship while some of our people were on the Cyllene and Arima, but I remember Strela. Heard everyone died. How?

Glad we have an understanding of that, then. What we did was in self defense. If we'd let them strip everything they were trying to take, it was as good as killing us - or at the very least it would've seriously fucked us over.

The people aboard the Strela wasted away. They were unresponsive when our teams came aboard, and subsequently died of inertia. Mental paralysis of some kind, as if they had lost any will to move.

I completely agree. We've seen your concern for the passengers of the Strela and the Cyllene, and understand that you aren't the type of people to be unnecessarily violent. I'm sure you did only what you had to. Sometimes, a firm hand is the only option when dealing with those sorts of people.

There WAS something already wrong with the people on Strela when we got there. Not that bad, mind you, but they refused to talk to any of us. It was creepy, but they looked pretty harmless at first.

I was told that Cyllene seemed empty, but what happened to the people that were on Arima? Did they go the same way as Strela?

Well I can't speak for everyone that's here. There are a lot of us who don't think we should even talk to your people at all. To be honest, I wasn't really sure I should respond to you after all that's happened.

When you say "all that's happened," can you be more specific about what you mean by that?

Was it from that mental paralysis, or something else?

What I mean is that we haven't had a very positive impression of your government - especially your prime minister. You people seem like you want to help and I want to believe that, but some of us think that you won't be able to make any promises you can keep.

I would hope that your fear of failure wouldn't stop you from trying. The worst case scenario involves you remaining trapped aboard the Tranquility. Surely any hope of getting off of it is worth attempting.

Actually, I would say the worst case scenario involves all of us DYING here, which is a possibility.

I'm not saying that we're going to stop trying. I'm just saying that you should be careful too. Not everyone here is trusting and I don't blame them. We've seen a lot of shit.

My name is Juri Boshi. I grew up on Alexandria. Before I joined Van Rijn's service, I worked in developing and advancing communications technology. I wasn't satisfied with my career opportunities, so I began looking elsewhere. That was about seven years ago.

My brother and his family still live there, but I saw an opportunity in joining this team, and I took it. My career keeps them comfortable.
